The first look at actor Catherina Zeta Jones' upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, Kill Jackie, was revealed on social media on Tuesday. Prime Video, Steel Springs Pictures, and Fremantle are producing this thriller series.
Zeta-Jones plays Jackie Price, who turns into an art dealer, leaving her drug-smuggling past behind. Just when Jackie feels that her anonymous art dealer life is getting boring, she discovers that the world's most dangerous hitmen team, The Seven Demons, is sent to eliminate her, she dusts off her long-forgotten instincts and sets out to kill them one by one. However, in the process, she realizes her past demons are much more terrifying than the cold-blooded murderers after her. Her secrets and the hitmen lead her to unexpected consequences.
The series, directed by Damon Thomas and written by Tom Butterworth, is based on the acclaimed novel The Price You Pay by author Nick Harkaway, who uses the pen name Aidan Truhen.
Apart from Zeta-Jones, the eight-part series also stars Oscar Jaenada, Daniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Darci Shaw, Hattie Hook, Enzo Cilenti, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Christine Adams, Karlis Arnolds Avots, Raff Law, Tadashi Ito, Set Sjostrand, Sebastian Armesto, Gavin Spokes, Julian Barratt, Jonathan Cake, Bill Paterson, and Bamshad Abedi-Amin.
Kill Jackie is set for a premiere in 2026.
