Stranger Things-fame David Harbour is continuing to work on his movie slate following his exit from TV roles. Sources have revealed to Deadline that he is in talks to star opposite Pedro Pascal in the upcoming film Behemoth! from Searchlight, written and directed by Tony Gilroy.

Behemoth! is expected to revolve around a cellist, but further plot details have been kept under wraps for now. The film is set to go on floors soon in Los Angeles.

Gilroy is also backing the film with Sanne Wohlenberg. Damián García serves as the cinematographer. Details regarding the extended cast and a release date for Behemoth! are yet to be announced.

David Harbour is set to complete his work in Stranger Things as the fifth and final season premieres later this year in three parts. His character Jim Hopper, garnered praise globally, earning him Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. This year, he was seen in David Ayer's A Working Man and Marvel's Thunderbolts*.

He recently wrapped filming for HBO's limited series DTF St. Louis. Up next, he has Goat, Violent Night 2 and the much-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday which also stars Pedro Pascal who is reprising his role as Reed Richards/ Mister Fantastic from The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Pedro Pascal was seen in Ari Aster's Eddington, Celine Song's Materialists and The Fantastic Four: First Steps this year. He also reprised his role as Joel Miller in season 2 of The Last of Us. Apart from Avengers: Doomsday, he also has The Mandalorian and Grogu in the works.
