Stranger Things season five introduced some new characters, but creator Ross Duffer revealed the personal connection behind one of them. The first volume of the latest season premiered on Netflix on November 27.

Duffer revealed the Miss Harris, a teacher at the school Holly Wheeler (the youngest of the Wheeler siblings) attends, was played by their high school drama teacher, Hope Hynes Love.

Taking to Instagram, Duffer, wrote, "High school was rough for me and my brother. But Hope saw something in us we didn’t see in ourselves — and she helped give us the confidence to not only survive those four years, but to move to LA and chase our dreams."

Duffer also wrote, "Shoutout to all the teachers out there making a difference. And please… let’s prioritize the arts in schools."

While the first volume of the final season of Stranger Things is currently streaming on Netflix, the second volume consisting of four episodes will premiere this Christmas, with the finale releasing on December 31.
