Netflix has released the trailer for for the third mystery in the Knives Out saga, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. The upcoming film is set to premiere on the streamer, on December 12.

Rian Johnson returns to direct the film, from his own story. Daniel Craig returns as the private investigator with the Southern US drawl, Benoit Blanc. Speaking about the film to Netflix, Johnson said, "It’s more similar to the first Knives Out in that it gets back to the real origins of the genre, which predate Agatha Christie, going back to Edgar Allan Poe. It’s still a Benoit Blanc mystery, so it’s funny and fun, but it’s set in an old stone church, there are lots of graveyards."

The rest of the cast of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery includes Josh O’Connor, Josh Brolin, Glenn Close, Thomas Haden Church, Kerry Washington, Daryl McCormack, Jeremy Renner, Andrew Scott, and Cailee Spaeny.

In Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) joins forces with police chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis) to solve an impossible murder that rocks a small town in New York State, USA.
