Besides Peggy Carter in the MCU, Hayley Atwell is popular for playing Grace in the Mission: Impossible franchise. The actor, who has a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the miniseries The Pillars of the Earth, recently revealed that she was around nine months pregnant while filming a fight sequence for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Atwell said, "During this fight sequence, we came back to it a few times to add a few elements to it. And in this clip, I’m actually eight and a half months pregnant."

Hayley Atwell went on to add, "I was taken such good care of. Everyone was so supportive and they were like, ‘Oh, you can sit down, and we’ll have a stunt double do it.’ And I was like, ‘No! I’ve worked too hard. Let me do it.’ So I did it, and here it is."

Atwell first appeared in the Mission: Impossible franchise with 2023's Dead Reckoning Part One as a morally ambiguous thief who turns from a reluctant ally into a trusted operative of Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt. Recently, Atwell described her Mission: Impossible co-star Cruise as a "leader on set" and a "modern-day Buster Keaton", citing his dedication to stunts.
