
Dan Brown's Robert Langdon is heading to Netflix, as Brown's upcoming novel, Secret of Secrets, is being adapted for Netflix. Carlton Cuse, who created Prime Video's Jack Ryan, is serving as a showrunner for the series.
Robert Langdon, the venerated symbologist, has to race against time so that he can rescue a missing scientist in Secret of Secrets, that will blend futuristic science with mystical lore.
While a cast for the series hasn't been announced yet, Brown is set to serve as a co-creator with Cuse. Brown and Cuse are also serving as writers and executive producers. Emma Forman is also serving as executive producer under the Genre Arts banner.
Brown's previous books, like Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, and Inferno, have been adapted into films. All of them were directed by Ron Howard and starred Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon. His novel The Lost Symbol was adapted into a TV series.
