Your Friends and Neighbors actor Corbin Bernsen is all set to star in Laura Louise. Helmed by Duane Edwards, the film is an indie thriller.
Bernsen is set to play Edward Brannock in Laura Louise. A postal worker, he is forced to deal with a cold missing person case which is now reopened. Decades after the vanishing of an adolescent girl, new evidence is discovered, leading to Brannock facing intense inspection. He is thrust to confront family secrets and mysteries that are long-hidden and ones he wishes remain that way.
Frederick Mensch’s original screenplay is the basis for Laura Louise. The writer, known for HBO’s Nightingale, has previously worked with Edwards for Wrong Numbers (2024), featuring Emily Hall and David Kelsey. Edwards’ The King Productions is backing the film along with co-producers Phil Lee and Darryl Manuel, which is all set to go on floors around September in Chicago.
