Earlier this year, we reported about Tom Cruise sharing a note of appreciation for director Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B Jordan's allegorical vampire film Sinners. "Congratulations Ryan, Michael, and to the entire cast and crew. Must see in a cinema and stay through the end credits!" wrote the Mission: Impossible star on X. Now, it is Michael B Jordan's chance to return the favour. Attending the premiere of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, reportedly Cruise's swansong as Ethan Hunt, Jordan shared an emotional note about watching Mission: Impossible in his younger days. "I was too young to see the first Mission Impossible in the theater, but now I get a chance to watch the final one… in IMAX!!!!" wrote Jordan while sharing a video featuring him alongside Cruise.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning earned a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival the other day. The Christopher McQuarrie directorial is opening in theatres on May 17, Saturday, in India, a week ahead of its international release.
