Martin Freeman and Olga Kurylenko to headline Let God Sort It Out
Martin Freeman, known for his roles in The Hobbit trilogy, and Olga Kurylenko, recognised for her performance in the Daniel Craig starrer James Bond film Quantum Of Solace, have been cast as the leads in the upcoming thriller Let God Sort It Out. The film is directed by Jamie Adams of She Is Love fame. It marks the inaugural production for Cobalt Sky Motion Picture Group, a newly established banner, in collaboration with Raised By Wolves, the company behind Dead Man’s Wire.
Let God Sort It Out centres on Kyle Roberts (Martin Freeman), a formerly celebrated rock star grappling with exhaustion and internal struggles. Looking for solace at a secluded sanctuary, Roberts' quest for tranquility is disrupted when a group of small-time criminals invades his retreat, leading to an escalating hostage situation. With tensions mounting, Roberts must confront his inner turmoil and decide whether to fight back against his captors.
The film is produced by Andrea Bucko, whose forthcoming projects include Bucking Fastard, Dead Man’s Wire and Alpha Gang; Neil Sacker; and Emanuele Moretti of Assassin Club fame. Nini Le Huynh and Jordan Claire Robbins are serving as executive producers.
Adams' credits include She Is Love, Love Spreads, Wild Honey Pie!, and Black Mountain Poets. His filmography is often characterised by its raw intimacy, focus on actor-driven narratives, and poetic sensibility. Adams is in the post-production process of his next film, Turn Up the Sun, slated for a 2025 release, as well as Let's Love, which also stars Freeman.
Freeman, who also starred in Black Panther, has several films in post-production, including the fantasy project Momo. Kurylenko, also known for her role in Oblivion opposite Tom Cruise, is involved in multiple projects currently in post-production, including the thriller Turbulence.
