
Peacock's adaptation of The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter has added more to its cast, reports Variety. Olivia Williams, Michael Dorman, Audrey Grace Marshall, and Drew Cheek have joined the series led by Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy.
The official synopsis for The Good Daughter is as follows: ‘The Good Daughter’ is a suspenseful crime drama where sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn have spent the last 28 years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence. When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte is the first witness on the scene. Now a lawyer like her father, she’s forced to confront her own demons as the case twists through one shocking revelation after another. In the end, both she and Samantha find themselves wondering if the price of being the good daughter was worth it after all.”
Meghann Fahy stars as Charlotte and Rose Byrne stars as Samantha in the series, with Williams as Harriet "Gamma" Quinn, Dorman as Ben, Marshall as young Sam, and Cheek as young Charlie. Brendan Gleeson, Harper Steele, Paula Malcomson and Jake McDorman round up the cast for the series.
Slaughter will serve as a writer and executive producer on The Good Daughter. Other executive producers on the series include Byrne, Casey Haver for Made Up Stories, Bruna Papandrea, and Steve Hutensky. Made Up Stories and Fifth Season are producing the series, with Fifth Season distributing The Good Daughter.
