Film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's Regretting You rounds out its cast
With several of Colleen Hoover's novels getting adapted for the cinematic medium and their productions moving forward, one of those films, Regretting You's adaptation, has added more actors to its cast, reports Deadline.
Rounding out the cast of Regretting You's adaptation are Clancy Brown, Ethan Samuel Costanilla and Sam Morales. The cast for the film includes Alison Williams, Dave Franco, Mckenna Grace, Mason Thames, Willa Fitzgerald, and Scott Eastwood.
The novel, which was first published in 2019, is about a complex relationship between a mother and her daughter, which is held together by a thin strand, which is the father. When an accident takes away the life of the father, the mother and daughter are left to undergo the impact of the loss and the effect it has on their relationship.
The film is directed by Josh Boone, who has also written it. Susan McMartin has written the first draft for the film. The film's executive producers are Hoover, Williams, Franco, and Grace, with Brunson Green, Anna Todd, and Flavia Viotti serving as producers, with Robert Kulzer producing for Constantin Film. Paramount Pictures is also producing the film.
The film will release theatrically on October 24.
