
Dexter: Resurrection continues to add to its cast, with the latest to join being Dexter: New Blood alum David Magidoff. According to Deadline, he is set to reprise his role as Teddy Reed from Dexter: New Blood.
Dexter: Resurrection sees the return of Michael C Hall as the forensic expert and serial killer, Dexter Morgan. After the end of the original show, Hall reprised his role in Dexter: New Blood, a limited series, which premiered in 2021. recently, a prequel series based on Hall's character called Dexter: Original Sin premiered in 2024.
With Hall, David Zayas, Jack Alcott, and James Remar return for Dexter: Resurrection. Joining them for the series are Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, Neil Patrick Harris, Krysten Ritter, Eric Stonestreet, and David Dastmalchian. John Lithgow is also set to reprise his role as the Trinity Killer.
Clyde Phillips, who was a showrunner for the original series, returns to serve as the showrunner for Dexter: Resurrections. Phillips also serves as an executive producer along with Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns. The series is produced by Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios with Marcos Siega serving as the producing director. Siega is also a director for six episodes for the series, with Monica Raymund directing four episodes.
David Magidoff is known for his roles in FX's American Crime Story: Impeachment and Apple TV+'s The Morning Show.
