DC Studios have a long lineup of projects in their arsenal, including the upcoming Superman film, Peacemaker season 2 and a Lanterns series. More parts of the DC Universe are in the making even today, such as a Wonder Woman film and a Superman sequel of sorts. However, DC Studios chief James Gunn is yet to reveal details about some of his projects, comprising films and TV series, one of which is his "favourite" work to date. "My favorite thing has not been announced at all," the Superman filmmaker said to EW in a recent interview. Gunn went on to add that he pitched it to Warner Bros Discover CEO David Zaslav when he discussed the way forward for DCU but did not announce the project, as he "felt like it was too easy to rip off by another company."
James Gunn called it "one of the main" projects at DC. The filmmaker also said that he would "probably" direct another project from his own screenplay. Fans of the filmmaker, known for Guardians of the Galaxy, can also expect a TV series from him. Calling it another one of his "favourite things in all of this," Gunn expects that it would be made in the near future. The number of projects at DC Studios is so many that even Gunn wonders will come out of the DC canon after the Clayface film.
