Actor Emily Mortimer's directorial debut Dennis will feature Alison Oliver, of Saltburn fame, and Yura Borisov, whose performance in Anora won an Oscar nomination.
Backed by A24 and Fruit Tree, the film written by Mortimer is about a British student (Oliver) and a Russian poet (Borisov) falling in love in Moscow during the 90s.
The film marks the collaboration between A24 and Fruit Tree following the two Jesse Eisenberg films: his upcoming comedy, starring Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti, and When You Finish Saving the World.
Emma Stone, Ali Herting, Dave McCary, Mortimer, Alessandro Nivola and Lizzie Nastro Adler will produce Dennis.
Oliver is best known for her role in Saltburn, directed by Emerald Fennell, who also helms her literary adaptation of Wuthering Heights, slated for a release on February 13, 2026. Her last appearance was in Justin Kurzel's The Order.
Winning an Oscar nomination for his role as Igor in Sean Baker's Anora, Borisov will next be seen in Luca Guadagnino's Artificial, opposite Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro.
