We Were Liars Trailer: The Sinclairs have a secret to hide in this thriller

Prime Video, the streamer of the psychological thriller We Were Liars, dropped the first full trailer for the series earlier today. The series based on E Lockhart's eponymous novel revolves around Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind), a member of the aristocratic Sinclairs family, who spends her summer with her tight-knit circle of friends, called the Liars, on her grandfather's island on New England. An accident has a life-changing impact on Cadence Sinclair Eastman and her friends, who all appear to hide a secret.

Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie serve as writers, executive producers, and showrunners for We Were Liars. The series also stars Shubham Maheshwari as Gat Patil, Esther McGregor as Mirren Sinclair Sheffield, Joseph Zada as Johnny Sinclair Dennis; alongside Caitlin FitzGerald as Penny Sinclair, Mamie Gummer as Carrie Sinclair, Candice King as Bess Sinclair, Rahul Kohli as Ed Patil, and David Morse as Harris Sinclair.

We Were Liars is slated for a June 18 release on Prime Video.
