Avatar: Fire and Ash Trailer: Jake Sully found a new home in Avatar (2009) and found his place among Pandora in Avatar: Way of the Water (2022), he will have to fight to preserve it in the new trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025). The trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash was initially played in theatres, along with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and was subsequently leaked.
The trailer opens with a Na'vi flying with the Ikran amongst the floating mountains, it then shifts to a scene in the water, reminiscent of the journey made from the first two films. A glimpse of the Wind Traders, a tribe of the Na'vi, who use air travel mainly, is shown. It is then hinted that something separates Jake Sully from his family, with Jake traversing across the volcanic terrain of Pandora to rescue them. We are also shown the Ash People of Pandora, with their leader Varang, who is hostile to Jake, Neytiri, and their family. A conflict within the Na'vi is hinted, with Varang at one side, Jake and his family on the other.
Returning for Avatar: Fire and Ash, are Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, and Kate Winslet. Oona Chaplin, who is known for playing Talisa Maegyr in Game of Thrones, will portray Varang, the leader of the Ash People. David Thewlis, who is known for playing Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter franchise, will play Peylak in the film.
Written and directed by James Cameron, Avatar: Fire and Ash, is the third entrant in the franchise, for which Cameron has teased two more sequels after Fire and Ash. Avatar (2009) is the highest grossing film of all time, earning almost 3 billion dollars at the global box office. Avatar: Way of the Water (2022) quickly became the third-highest-grossing film of all time, behind its predecessor and Avengers: Endgame.
