
Apple TV+'s endearing comedy, Ted Lasso, has kicked off production on its fourth season. Jason Sudeikis will return to star as the titular football coach, alongside other series regulars.
The official storyline for the series is as follows, "Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would."
Along with Sudeikis, other cast members returning are Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, and Brett Goldstein, who is also serving as a writer on this season. Brendan Hunt, Grant Freely, Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern.
The series was developed by Sudeikis, based on the character he portrayed for the NBC Sports coverage for the Premier League. He developed it alongside Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt, who serve as executive producers alongside Sudeikis, Bill Wrubel, Jane Becker, and Leanne Bowen. Doozer Productions, Warner Bros Television, and Universal Television are backing the series.
