The star cast of the series adaptation of Julia May Jonas' novel, Vladimir, has expanded with the inclusion of John Slattery and Jessica Henwick.

The Netflix series featuring Rachel Weisz and Leo Woodall has also announced that Ellen Robertson, Kayli Carter, Miriam Silverman, Matt Walsh, Mallori Johnson, Tattiawna Jones, and Louise Lambert will complete the star-studded cast.

While Slattery, Henwick, and Robertson star as series regulars John, Cynthia, and Sid respectively, Karter (as Lila), Silverman (as Florence), Walsh (as David), Johnson (as Edwina), Tattiawna Jones (as Alexis), and Lambert (as Dawn), will have recurring roles in the series.

The official logline of the series states that a woman (Weisz) in the flow of life discovers that she is obsessed with her new colleague (Woodall), and is dogged to turn her fantasies into reality. The series, the makers say, is replete with dark humour and complex characters.

The team of Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini will direct the first three episodes of the eight-episode series. The two will also serve as executive producers along with the novel's author Jonas.
