Terminator: Dark Fate's Mackenzie Davis and Josh Hartnett join Netflix's new limited series

In Netflix's upcoming untitled series, Mackenzie Davis and Josh Hartnett will lead the cast. The limited series set in a remote town in Newfoundland, Canada, will consist of six episodes, according to Deadline.

The series will follow the story of a fisherman, who has lived a tough life, as he has to fight a sea creature that terrorises his town. The fisherman will have to win this fight against all odds to protect and keep safe his family and his town.

The series is created by Jesse McKeown who also serves as a showrunner. McKeown serves as an executive producer alongside Hartnett, Jamie Childs, Chris Hatcher, Sharon Hall, and Louise Sutton. Childs will also serve as a director on the series with Stephen Dunn and Helen Shaver.

Davis, who has starred in Terminator: Dark Fate alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, was recently seen in Speak No Evil, which starred James McAvoy. Meanwhile, Hartnett played a serial killer trying to escape the authorities in M Night Shyamalan's thriller Trap.
