The makers of Andor released the trailer for its second season the other day. The series is set before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), and it charts Cassian Andor's rise from an orphan to a charismatic leader, a thief and a scavenger. Diego Luna reprised his role as Cassian Andor from Rogue One in the spinoff, which was ordered as one of the first original programming from Disney for its new streaming service.
Andor's season two sees the continuation of the grounded story of Cassian as he navigates the path he takes to join the Rebellion. The trailer features the song 'The Revolution Starts Now' by Steve Earle in the background. It shows a montage of events set to happen in season 2 and ends with Forest Whitaker stirring up a character by saying, "Remember this moment. You're here. You're right here. And you're ready to fight!"
The series sees the return of Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. Also reprising their roles from season 1 are Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgard, Fiona Shaw, Genevieve O'Reilly, Denise Gough, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, and Forest Whitaker. Ben Mendelsohn and Alan Tudyk reprise their roles as Orson Krennic and K-2SO from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Andor season 2 will stream on JioHotstar from April 22.
