Travis Braun's screenplay for One Night Only, which tops the 2024 Black List, has found a director in Anyone But You fame Will Gluck. Besides directing the film, Gluck will produce it under his banner Olive Bridge Entertainment for Universal Pictures. According to the official logline from the screenplay, the plot follows "two strangers scrambling to find someone to sleep with on the one night of the year when premarital sex is legal."
Braun topped the Black List in 2023 as well, with his Bad Boy screenplay, thus becoming the first scenarist to achieve this feat in two consecutive years. Lili Reinhart and Ke Huy Quan are set to feature in the lead roles of a film titled Bad Boy based on Braun's screenplay. Chris Miller and Phil Lord are set to produce another project based on his Dying for You screenplay from the 2022 Black List.
On the other hand, Gluck is also known for his work on Easy A, Peter Rabbit, Annie, and Friends with Benefits.
