A24 has released the teaser for The Drama, a new film starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in the lead. The relationship drama is set to release early in 2026.
The Drama is directed by Kristoffer Borgli, who has previously directed Dream Scenario, which starred Nicolas Cage and Michael Cera, among others. Director Ari Aster is producing the film along with Lars Knudsen, who was also a producer on Dream Scenario.
The cast of the film also includes Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates, and Zoe Winters. Zendaya and Pattinson star as a couple in The Drama, whose wedding week is tested, when an unexpected revelation comes to light.
The Drama will be one of three films in 2026 to feature Zendaya and Pattinson. The pair will be seen in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey as Athena (Zendaya) and Antinous (Pattinson). The Odyssey is set to release in July 17, 2026. They will also be seen in Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Three. Zendaya will reprise her role as Chani, the concubine of Paul Atriedes (Timothee Chalamet). While Pattinson's role in the film hasn't been unveiled, he is rumoured to be playing the antagonist Scytale, a Tleilaxu face dancer.
