Simu Liu is escorted to a highly-secure government office one day where he is told that his brain has been "hacked" and is sharing information like wi-fi, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. The first trailer for The Copenhagen Test sets this premise, promising a high-intensity espionage thriller. Created by Thomas Brandon and executive producer James Wan, the series hits Peacock on December 27.

As per the official logline, the "series follows first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale, who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies." Melissa Barrera plays his "girlfriend" who keeps an eye on him and reports to the headquarters.
