Anil Kapoor took to X to pen a note on 14 years since the release of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Anil essayed the role of a Mumbai based billionaire in the film.
Through his X handle, Anil wrote, "14 years since Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the memories still feel like yesterday. More than the movie, it was the friendships and the journey. Forever grateful."
Cruise reprised his role as Impossible Missions Force (IMF) agent Ethan Hunt, five years after Mission Impossible III (2006). The cast also included Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, and Lea Seydoux. Ving Rhames and Michelle Monaghan made cameos as Luther Stickell and Ethan's wife, Julia, respectively.
Beyond Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, the film series continued with Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (2015), Mission Impossible: Fallout (2018), Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning (2023), and Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning (2025).
