The trailer for Josh Brolin's upcoming horror film, Weapons, has been released online. The film directed by Zach Cregger has Julia Garner in a key role.

The story of Weapons is as follows: "With an entire class of children disappearing one night, all at the same time, the school, the teachers, and the community are befuddled."

The rest of the ensemble cast includes Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.

Along with directing Weapons Cregger has also written the script. He produces the film with Roy Lee, JD Lifshitz, Raphael Margules, and Miri Yoon. Cregger is also handling music for the film with Ryan Holladay and Hays Holladay. Brolin and Michelle Morrissey are serving as executive producers on the film. New Line Cinema, Subconscious, Vertigo Entertainment, and Boulderlight Pictures are backing Weapons, with Warner Bros Pictures distributing the film.

Zach Cregger's Weapons is set to release theatrically on August 8.
