
In the wake of several artists in India cancelling their shows as a mark of solidarity for the victims of the Pahalgam attack, actor an d comedian Kevin Hart has also called off his upcoming India tour for his comedy special ‘Acting My Age’. The show, which was scheduled to take place on April 30 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi, stands cancelled and the organisers assured that they are looking at rescheduling it on a future date.
The statement from the organisers read, "Important update: In light of the recent tragic events, we, along with Kevin Hart’s team, have decided to cancel the upcoming Delhi show scheduled for April 30th… We are working closely with Kevin Hart’s team on a new schedule and will share updates soon."
"While we were looking forward to gathering with all of you, we believe it’s important to pause and stand in solidarity with those affected," They added as a caption to the post.
Apart from Kevin Hart, singers Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, AP Dillion and Papon had also rescheduled their events following the tragedy at Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir which left 26 dead and several others injured. It is being called one of the deadliest civilian attacks in the Valley in recent years.
Earlier on Monday, Salman Khan had also postponed his The Bollywood Big One UK tour which was supposed to be held in Manchester and London on May 4 and 5. Apart from Salman, the event would have also featured performances from actors like Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Tiger Shroff, Madhuri Dixit and Sara Ali Khan, among others.
