Simona Tabasco on boards horror-thriller Corporate Retreat helmed by Aaron Fisher

Hot on the heels of her breakout role in The White Lotus Season 2, Simona Tabasco is set to join director Aaron Fisher's horror-thriller Corporate Retreat.

She will join the ensemble comprising Alan Ruck, of Succession fame; Ashton Sanders, of Moonlight fame; and Rosanna Arquette, of Pulp Fiction fame. Fisher and Kerri Lee Romeo co-write the film's script.

Tabasco starred in several Italian series and films, such as Doc – Nelle tue mani and Perez, before her Emmy-nominated role in the HBO series. She was also a part of the box office hit nunsploitation film Immaculate, opposite Sydney Sweeney, which released last year.

Corporate Retreat is Aaron Fisher's sophomore film following his debut Inside the Rain in 2019, before which he made a few short films and directed the TV series Single and Baller in 2018.

In addition to Corporate Retreat, Tabasco also has director Goran Dukic's sci-fi film Cloud One in the pipeline. She will star alongside Sophie Turner, of Game Of Thrones fame, and Boyd Holbrook of Narcos fame, in the film.

In Corporate Retreat, a team-building getaway goes wrong after the collection of executives fight for survival after their retreat leader reveals his diabolical scheme.

The film, produced by Uri Singer, will go on floors in June.
