Joel Kinnaman, who is known for playing Rick Flag in Suicide Squad, is joining Apple TV+'s Imperfect Women, reports Variety. The limited series is based on Araminta Hall's Imperfect Women.

Imperfect Women follows the story of three women who have been friends for decades, whose lives change after a crime takes place. As the details of the crime are uncovered, during the investigation, several truths are revealed which shift the dynamics of relationships.

Kinnaman joins the cast for the series led by Elisabeth Moss, with other members being Kerry Washington and Kate Mara.

Annie Weisman is adapting Imperfect Women for Apple TV+. She is also a writer and will serve as an executive producer with Moss and Lindsey McManus, who are producing under their Love & Squalor Pictures. Other executive producers are Washington and Pilar Savone under the Simpson Street banner, with Hall. The series is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios.

Kinnaman, apart from starring in Suicide Squad, has starred in films like Knight of Cups, Silent Night and the Netflix series Altered Carbon. Moss is known for her starring roles as Peggy Olsen in Mad Men and June Osborne in The Handmaid's Tale. Washington has acted in projects like Scandal, Fantastic Four (2005), and Django Unchained. Mara has House of Cards, Shooter, and Morgan, under her belt.
