

Screenwriter and producer Nelson Greaves' short story is getting a big screen adaptation from Amazon MGM Studios' Orion Pictures. Titled Nanny Cam, the thriller will be adapted to screen by Greaves along with George Tillman Jr who will be incharge of directing the film.
The film revolves around a not-so happy married couple who leave their house in the care of a nanny with three kids during a night out. When they see someone in their house on their nanny camera, they must race back to their house to before their kids get into trouble.
Nanny Cam will be produced by Bob Teitel and Tillman Jr under their State Street Pictures banner.
As a director Tillman Jr has helmed films like Soul Food, Men of Honor, Notorious, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete, and The Hate U Give, among others. He last directed the 2023 biopic Big George Foreman based on the life of world heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman. On TV he has directed three episodes of This Is Us and Power. Tillman Jr was also a producer on projects like the Barbershop films, Beauty Shop and Nothing Like the Holidays to name a few. He is now working on The Prince of New York, which is based on a New York Times article and the bestselling book My Name is Tani. He is also set to helm a film based on Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None for 20th Century Studios.
Greaves is currently co-writing a feature the late paranormal DJ Art Bell, which will be headlined by Paul Giamatti and helmed by Radio Silence. He has also worked for Unfriended for Blumhouse and the classic Inspector Gadget for Disney. His contribution to various series also includes Your Friends and Neighbors, See, Joe Pickett, Invasion, Magic Order, Deception, 24, and Sleepy Hollow. He has also co-written Netflix's Unabom.
