Legendary's next film in its Monsterverse adds Alycia Debnam-Carey to its cast, reports Deadline. The film has not landed on a title yet.
Legendary's Monsterverse was started by Godzilla (2014), with Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs Kong, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. The universe also includes the streaming series Skull Island and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
The cast of the film includes Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O'Connell, Matthew Modine, Delroy Lindo, and Dan Stevens. Notably, Dan Stevens is reprising his role as Trapper Beasly from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
The film is directed by Grant Sputore with Dave Callaham writing the script. Legendary is bankrolling the project, with Warner Bros distributing the film.
The yet-to-be-titled film is set to be released by March 26, 2027.
Debnam-Carey is known for her roles in Netflix's Apple Cider Vinegar, Fear the Walking Dead, The 100, and The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart.
