Anne Hathaway celebrated Arsenal Football Club's recent victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter final by singing the club's theme song, 'North London Forever'. The other day, she took to her Instagram stories to share a video of her clad in an Arsenal jersey and singing the song. In between, her phone made a notification sound, and Hathaway said, "The group chat is going off. Declan is the man of the game, I agree mom." Hathaway was referring to Arsenal's midfielder Declan Rice, who scored a spectacular free kick goal from afar to help his team win the match. This is not the first time Hathaway has publicly made it known that she is a fan of the North London club. In an earlier instance, her celebration of Arsenal player Leandro Trossard's goal in a Premier League match went viral, prompting the player himself to thank her as she was promoting her film The idea of You.

On the work front, Hathaway is reuniting with Christopher Nolan on the latter's epic film The Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer's eponymous poem. The Odyssey stars Matt Damon in the titular role as the king of Ithaca, and it charts his perilous journey back home after the Trojan War. The star-studded cast of The Odyssey includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Bennie Safdie, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Elliot Page, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Cosmo Jarvis, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee, Corey Hawkins, Mia Goth, Nick Tarabay, Jimmy Gonzales, Maurice Compte, Michael Vlamis, Iddo Goldberg, Rafi Gavron, and Shiloh Fernandes.

Hathaway also has Verity, Mother Mary, and Flowervale Street in the pipeline.
