The cast of Dexter: Original Sin alongside Gibson are Molly Brown, Christian Slater, James Martinez, Christina Milan, Alex Shimizu, Patrick Dempsey, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Michael C Hall, who originated the role of Dexter, lends his voice as Dexter's inner voice.

Clyde Phillips serves as the showrunner for Dexter: Original Sin and serves as an executive producer with Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, Mary Leah Sutton, Michael Lehmann, and Lilly Burns. Michael Lehmann serves as a director on the series. Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios produce the series, with Paramount Global Content Distribution distributing.

Season One of Dexter: Original Sin is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
