On Tuesday, Netflix announced the premiere date for the second season of Tires. Starring Shane Gillis and Steve Gerben, the series is all set to premiere on June 5.

The first season of Tires premiered on the streamer on May 23. It was renewed for a second season even before the first season premiere. The series is co-created by Gillis, Gerben and John McKeever.

The official synopsis of the series reads, "Will (Steven Gerben), the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempts to turn his father’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Gillis)."

The extended cast of the series includes Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias, with guest appearances by Andrew Schulz. The six-episode scripted first season of the series is helmed by McKeever. Gillis and McKeever's production company Dad Sick has independently backed Tires, which was acquired by Netflix in February.
