Apple TV+ dropped the first official trailer for its upcoming psychological thriller series Disclaimer* a while ago. Filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron's seven-part series, starring Oscar winners Kevin Kline and Cate Blanchett, will premiere on October 11 on Apple TV+.
Disclaimer* is based on Renee Knight's novel of the same name. The official logline from Apple TV+ reads, "Acclaimed journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett) built her reputation revealing the misdeeds and transgressions of others. When she receives a novel from an unknown author, she is horrified to realise she is now the main character in a story that exposes her darkest secrets. As Catherine races to uncover the writer’s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys both her own life and her relationships with her husband Robert (Sacha Baron Cohen) and their son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee). The ensemble cast includes Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Hoyeon, and features Indira Varma as the narrator."
The miniseries also stars Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, and Hoyeon. Indira Varma is also part of the show as the narrator.
