Quay Street Productions, the banner known for the Netflix show Fool Me Once, is producing a thriller series titled The Guest for BBC. Gabrielle Creevy and Eve Myles are attached to star in it. Best known as the screenwriter for the BBC drama Men Up from Quay Street Productions, Matthew Barry is also attached to the project.
The Guest revolves around the beguiling and toxic relationship between Fran, a successful businessperson, and her worker Ria. The latter has had neither the opportunity nor the time to consider what she wants from life. Therefore, when she begins to work for Fran, the self-assured and confident woman gains an influence on her, which soon leads to a manipulative game of cat and mouse between them.
The cast also includes Sion Daniel Young (Slow Horses), Bethan Mary- James (Friday Night Dinner), Emun Elliott (Sexy Beast), Julian Lewis Jones (House Of The Dragon), Joseph Ollman (The Tattooist of Auschwitz), Clive Russell (Game of Thrones) and Catherine Ayers (Missing You).
