Previously, at the Creative Arts Emmy, which took place last weekend, FX's The Bear won 7 awards, including Best Guest Comedy Actor and Actress awards, which were bagged by Jon Bernthal and Jamie Lee Curtis, respectively. At the Primetime Emmys, which took place on Sunday, the series went on to bag four more awards, breaking its own Emmy record for most comedy wins in a single year.

Jeremy Allen White bagged the award for Best Lead Comedy Actor for his performance as Carmy Berzatto. Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Liza Colón-Zayas took home the awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress for playing Richie and Tina in the series. Christopher Storer won the award for directing the episode “Fishes” in the series.

Along with these six awards, and awards including picture editing for a single-camera comedy, sound mixing for a comedy or drama series (half-hour) and animation, for the episode "Forks,” cinematography for a single-camera series (half-hour), also for "Forks,” and sound editing for a comedy or drama series (half-hour) and animation (also for “Forks”), The Bear now stands with 11 Emmy Awards this awards season.

With this new record, the series has broken its own record of 10 Emmy Awards, which it bagged last year. Additionally, this year, the series won 23 Emmy nominations, as opposed to the 22 it received last year. Previously, season 1 of The Bear won best comedy series, best supporting actress in a comedy (Ayo Edibri), best supporting actor in a comedy (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), best actor in a comedy (Jeremy Allen White), and best writing and best directing for a comedy series (both Christopher Storer) at the 75th Emmys.

The Bear, a dramedy series created by Christopher Storer, tells the story of Carmy (played by Jeremy White), a celebrated chef who comes back to his Chicago roots to take over his deceased brother's humble sandwich shop. Alongside Sydney (played by Ayo Edebiri), Carmy transforms the eatery into an upscale restaurant, navigating the challenges and opportunities that come with it.
