We had earlier reported that Nicholas Galitzine has been roped in to star in 100 Nights of Hero. The cast of the film has now expanded to add actors Maika Monroe, Emma Corrin and pop star Charli XCX. Directed by Julia Jackman, the upcoming period fantasy film is an adaptation of Isabel Greenberg's eponymous graphic novel.

100 Nights of Hero is a feminist fairy tale inspired by One Thousand and One Nights. The plot centers around a charming houseguest (Galitzine), whose arrival at a remote castle disrupts the lives of a neglectful husband, his innocent bride Cherry (Monroe), and her devoted maid Hero (Corrin). The graphic novel was first published in 2016 by Little, Brown and Company.

Helen Simmons and Stephanie Aspin produce the film under the banner Erebus Pictures.

Corrin was recently seen playing Cassandra Nova in Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine. They will next be seen in Robert Eggers’ much-awaited Nosferatu, which is set to be released on Christmas eve.

Best known for her roles in It Follows, Watcher, Honey Boy and Greta, Monroe recently starred opposite Nicolas Cage in Osgood Perkins’ horror thriller Longlegs.

Charli XCX is set to star alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman in I Want Your Sex, a thriller from Black Bear directed by Gregg Araki. She will also make her live-action feature debut in Faces of Death, a remake of the cult classic by Daniel Goldhaber for Legendary Entertainment. Additionally, she is co-executive producing the score for David Lowery’s A24 film Mother Mary, working alongside Jack Antonoff.
