Michael B Jordan, who made his directorial debut with Creed III, is all set for his second directorial film. He has been attached as an actor and director to a reimagining of The Thomas Crown Affair, the 1968 Steve McQueen-Faye Dunaway starrer. Jordan is directing the film based on a Drew Pearce screenplay. Jordan is also producing it through his banner Outlier Society along with Elizabeth Raposo. The makers are yet to reveal plot details. However,  Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson have written a draft based on McQueen's 1968 film, which also has a 1999 remake starring Faye Dunaway, Pierce Brosnan, and Rene Russo, among others.

Marc Toberoff and Patrick McCormick will also produce the film, titled Thomas Crown Affair, with the McQueen film's writer Alan Trustman serving as an executive producer.

Jordan's upcoming projects include an I Am Legend sequel alongside Will Smith, who reprises his role from the first part, Rainbow Six, and a film with writer-director Ryan Coogler.
