Actor Vincent D'Onofrio, who is best known for his role as Kingpin in Daredevil, is the latest to join the cast of Darren Aronofsky's Caught Stealing. However, details regarding his role are currently under wraps.

He joins previously announced lead cast members, Austin Butler, Zoe Kravitz, Regina King, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Will Brill and Griffin Dunne.

The film is based on the books by Charlie Huston, who also adapted the screenplay. As per the official plotline, "Caught Stealing follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ‘90s NYC."

Aronofsky also serves as a producer on Caught Stealing along with Ari Handel, his partner at Protozoa Pictures.

D’Onofrio also played the much-famed character in Disney+'s miniseries Echo and Hawkeye. He will once again take on the Marvel villain role in the much-anticipated series Daredevil: Born Again, which is expected to premiere on the same streamer in March 2025. The actor was most recently seen in F Gary Gray’s Netflix heist film Lift, Craig Gillespie's Dumb Money, and Ethan Hawke’s Wildcat. He also starred opposite Forest Whitaker on the crime drama series Godfather of Harlem.

Aronofsky, on the other hand, also has a biopic on Elon Musk in development at A24, which produced his film with Brendan Fraser titled The Whale.
