After Bad Bunny, Griffin Dunne has joined the cast of Darren Aronofsky's Caught Stealing. He joins previously announced lead cast members, Austin Butler, Zoe Kravitz, Regina King, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, and Will Brill.
The makers of the crime thriller, adapted from Charlie Huston's novel Caught Stealing, are yet to confirm the specifics of Dunne's character. Aronofsky will direct the film from a Huston screenplay. As per the official plotline, "Caught Stealing follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ‘90s NYC."
Aronofsky also serves as a producer on Caught Stealing along with Ari Handel, his partner at Protozoa Pictures. Aronofsky also has a biopic on Elon Musk in development at A24, which produced his film with Brendan Fraser titled The Whale.
Dunne's credits include The French Dispatch, Ocean’s Eight, War Machine, Dallas Buyers Club, Quiz Show. He was last seen in The Girls on the Bus.
