Earlier, we reported about Anthony Hopkins starring as an Italian financier for the Maserati siblings in a film about the car family. Andrea Iervolino, who produces Maserati: The Brothers through his namesake TV and film production company, is bankrolling another film about Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti. Talking about the film, Iervolino stated, "After the success of our films on Lamborghini and Ferrari, I am thrilled to bring another global automotive icon to the screen. Bugatti will be a film that honors the passion and innovation that have defined one of the most iconic car manufacturers of all time."
The producer, known for sports films such as Lamborghini: The Man Behind The Legend and Ferrari, is in negotiations with screenwriters and filmmakers for the English feature. According to reports, the film will have American and international actors. The filmmaker is expecting that the Bugatti family will approve and/or support the project.
The film will tell the story of the man known for transforming the world of automotives through his relentless dedication and creativity. Bugatti made designs for aeroplane engines as well.
