
Ben Schwartz is the latest to join the 20th Century Studios film, Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice. He is joining the previously announced actors Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, Eiza Gonzalez, Keith David, Jimmy Tatro and Arturo Castro.
BenDavid Grabinski is attached as the writer-director for the buddy action comedy film, with Andrew Lazar as a producer. Details regarding character's names and descriptions are still under wraps.
Ben Schwartz's impressive career boasts numerous accolades, including a 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special, earned for his collaboration with Hugh Jackman on the 81st Annual Academy Awards' opening number. Schwartz has garnered three additional Emmy nominations for his acting and writing talents.
His recent television credits include AppleTV+'s miniseries The Afterparty, produced by Lord & Miller, and the Netflix series Space Force, created by Greg Daniels and Steve Carell. Schwartz's extensive TV resume also includes Showtime's House of Lies and NBC's comedy Parks & Recreation. In addition to his scripted work, Schwartz co-created and starred in three Netflix improv specials, Middleditch & Schwartz, and lent his voice to animated series such as DuckTales and Rise of the TMNT.
Schwartz's film credits includes starring roles alongside Kevin Hart and John Cena in Die Hart 2: Die Harter, Universal's Renfield, the indie feature Standing Up, Falling Down opposite Billy Crystal, Happy Anniversary, written and directed by Jared Stern for Netflix, and Shawn Levy's This is Where I Leave You. Looking ahead, Schwartz will reprise his voice role as Sonic in Sonic The Hedgehog 3, set to hit theaters on December 20.
