Rebecca Zlotowski is directing a French film titled Vie Privée, a follow up to her 2022 feature Other People's Children. Jodie Foster is all set to appear in the film, according to a Variety report. Zlotowski has written its screenplay alongside French novelist Anne Berest and Gaëlle Macé. The cast also includes Daniel Auteuil.

The film reunites Zlotowski with her Grand Central collaborator Macé, as well as her frequent producer Les Films Velvet's Frederic Jouve.

Foster last appeared in 2023's sports biopic Nyad, alongside Annette Bening. Like Zlotowski, Foster's dramas also have multifaceted characters, including female protagonists.

Zlotowski is most popular as the director of Other People's Children, Une fille facile, Grand Central, Belle Epine alongside Lea Seydoux, as well as Planetarium starring Lily-Rose Depp and Natalie Portman.

An actor with fluency in French, Foster has appeared in French cinema before. The actor made her debut in the industry as a teenager in Fleur Bleu. She also collaborated with French filmmaker Claude Chabrol for The Blood of Others, the 1984 film based on Simone de Beauvoir's eponymous novel.
