
DisneyPlus released the trailer for the upcoming John Williams documentary, for which his frequent collaborator Steven Spielberg is one of the producers. With a career spanning over six decades, 54 Oscar nominations, and 5 Oscar wins, Williams is attributable to some of the most popular scores in Hollywood. His work includes composing music for Star Wars, Jaws, Schindler's List, the Indiana Jones franchise, Jurassic Park, Superman, the first three Harry Potter films, and even the theme music for the four Summer Olympic tournaments.
Having worked with several legendary filmmakers like Alfred Hitchcock, Brian De Palma, Robert Altman, Clint Eastwood, and Richard Donner, he has composed for all but five films of Steven Spielberg. The documentary will cover his career from his early days as a jazz pianist to his impact on pop culture. It'll have a limited theatrical release before streaming on DisneyPlus from November 1.
