Netflix has unveiled the first teaser of their new dark comedy series No Good Deed and it looks like the walls have eyes and the owners are well aware of it.
The series comes from Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman. No Good Deed follows Kudrow and Romano who take on the roles of Lydia and Paul, a couple looking to transition from an empty nest to a vibrant new chapter.
Their first step? Selling their stunning 1920s Spanish-style villa nestled in one of Los Angeles' most sought-after neighbourhoods
Three families are vying to buy the same house that they think will solve all their problems. But the major secret is that darkness lurks beneath the surface of the seemingly perfect house. The teaser hints that the series will delve into mystery, horror as well as elements of comedy.
The ensemble cast also features Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris, and Luke Wilson. Guest stars include Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, Rory Scovel, Wyatt Aubrey, Kevin Alves, and Linda Lavin, with Anna Maria Horsford also making an appearance.
Apart from serving as a creator, Liz Feldman also serves as the showrunner, director, and executive producer, with Silver Tree joining her in directing and producing.
The series will consist of eight episodes and be executive produced by Christie Smith, Liz, Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum under Gloria Sanchez Productions.
No Good Deed is set to premiere on Netflix on December 12.
