Earlier this month, we reported about Angelina Jolie starring in director Alice Winocour's English-French feature Stitches. In the latest development, Ella Rumpf and Louis Garrel have signed on to star in the film, also known as Coutures in French. According to a Variety report, Anyier Anei, Finnegan Oldfield, and Garance Marillier have also been added to the cast.
Stitches follows a filmmaker (Jolie) whose life collides with two other women in Paris Fashion Week. Charles Gillibert is producing the film through his Paris-based label CG Cinema, in association with Closer Media's William Horberg and Zhang Xin.
Stitches brings Jolie back to Paris after her recent film Maria, which stars her as iconic opera singer Maria Callas. The film, which follows the singer in the last few days of her life, earned an eight-minute-long standing ovation during its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year.
Production on Stitches has commenced in Paris. Its technical team includes Andre Chemetoff, production design by Florian Sanson, and costume design by Pascaline Chavanne.
