Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming dark comedy series No Good Deed, hinting at a premise where the house’s walls seem to have eyes—and the owners are fully aware.

Created by Liz Feldman, known for Dead to Me, the series stars Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano as Lydia and Paul, a couple looking to embark on an exciting new phase of life after becoming empty nesters. Their first move? Selling their gorgeous 1920s Spanish-style villa in one of Los Angeles' most desirable neighborhoods.

The plot revolves around three families competing to purchase the house, believing it will fix their personal struggles. However, beneath its charming facade, the house hides dark secrets. The trailer suggests the series will blend mystery, horror, and comedy elements.

The ensemble cast of No Good Deed also features Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris, and Luke Wilson. Guest stars include Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, Rory Scovel, Wyatt Aubrey, Kevin Alves, and Linda Lavin, with Anna Maria Horsford also making an appearance.

Apart from serving as a creator, Liz Feldman also serves as the showrunner, director, and executive producer, with Silver Tree joining her in directing and producing.

No Good Deed will consist of eight episodes and is executive produced by Christie Smith, Liz, Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum under Gloria Sanchez Productions.

No Good Deed is set to premiere on Netflix on December 12.
