Filmmaker Justin Kurzel and actor Jude Law have collaborated for the thriller The Order. The film is said to be based on Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt's book 'The Silent Brotherhood.'
The film about an FBI agent fighting the neo-Nazi terrorists is announced to open the Marrakech International Film Festival, which runs from November 29 to December 7. A lineup of over 70 films is said to be screened in this festival.
The Order is part of the Gala Screening section that also features Nabil Ayouch's Everybody Loves Touda, David Oelhoffen's Fourth Wall, Walter Salles' I'm Still Here, Mohammad Rasoulof's The Seed of the Sacred Fig, David Cronenberg's The Shrouds, and Carine Tardieu's The Ties That Bind Us. Additionally, Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia's All We Imagine As Light has been included in the Special Screenings category.
The Canadian director's film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Jumee Smollett, Alison Oliver and Marc Maron. The Order's technical crew comprises cinematographer Adam Arkapaw, editor Nick Fenton and music composer Jed Kurzel, the younger brother of Justin.
Jude Law and Justin Kurzel have also produced the film with Bryan Haas and Stuart Ford. The Order first premiered at the Venice International Film Festival held this August.
