Jack Reynor has signed on to star in Citadel Season 2, according to a Variety report. Reynor joins the existing cast, which includes Stanley Tucci and the leads Priyanka-Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden.
Citadel Season 2 will go on floors later this year. Joe Russo is also set to helm the second season, besides serving as an executive producer alongside Anthony Russo. The makers are yet to reveal plot and character details for the upcoming season of the espionage show. David Weil is also an executive producer and the showrunner of Citadel, an Amazon MGM Studios production.
Citadel serves as a springboard for multiple series in different nations that will have some connection in terms of story and characters. An Italian show titled Citadel: Diana is set for a 2024 release, whereas an Indian one Citadel: Honey Bunny is in development.
This is the third Amazon Prime Video series for Reynor. His previous credits for the streamer include The Peripheral, based on William Gibson's novel of the same name, and Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams. It also reunites Reynor with the Russo brothers after 2021's Cherry, also starring Tom Holland.
