
Creator of Full House and Fuller House Jeff Franklin is set to back Murder with the Stars, an upcoming horror film.
The film will be created in partnership with production company Pelican Point Media's Jaclyn and Ike Suri. The company has produced 2016 thriller Exposed, starring Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves.
Murder with the Stars will have its screenplay written by Craig Shoemaker and will also serve as a producer, with Jonathan Silverman set to direct and act.
The film is about "A police detective investigates the truth behind his partner's death. The mysterious case reveals disturbing police corruption and a dangerous secret involving an unlikely young woman."
Jeff Franklin started his television career in 1979 as a screenwriter in The Bad News Bears. He went on to be a part of Bosom Buddies in 1982, Full House from 1987-1992, and Hangin' with Mr Cooper from 1992-1997. Franklin co-wrote Just One of the Guys (1985) with Dennis Feldman, wrote Summer School (1987) and Love Stinks (1999) , also directing the latter.
